Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LCDC III or LICDC to join our team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide clinical counseling and psychotherapy services, including PTSD care and addiction medicine support.
- Utilize ICD-9 coding for accurate medical documentation and billing processes.
- Engage in case management activities to coordinate care and resources for clients.
- Participate in research data collection to support program development and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within hospital settings to ensure holistic care for clients.
Experience
- Proven experience in diagnostic evaluation, clinical counseling, and case management within the field of addiction medicine or mental health.
- Familiarity with PTSD care practices and psychotherapy techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of ICD-9 coding for effective medical documentation is preferred.
- Experience in research data collection is a plus, contributing to evidence-based practices in treatment approaches.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a client-centered focus.
