Overview: The Director, Technical Program Management, will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of critical Cosm technology initiatives. The person in this position will be responsible for managing complex technical programs, ensuring sound risk management and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful digital projects. You will manage a team of technical program managers who will be focused on key areas of Cosmʼs Technology portfolio including Venue Deployment, Venue Management Tools, Video Technology, and B2B backend tools that power immersive venues around the world. You will play a critical role in aligning technical initiatives with the broader Cosm business goals. You are focused on solving problems and working through challenges that may arise during the delivery process. You will take the initiative in improving communication and processes across the multitude of cross-functional teams within the Product Development organization and broader Cosm organization. You will work very closely with both Product and Engineering leads to ensure alignment and you will foster collaboration to ensure each workstream moves efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities: Define and execute a comprehensive Venue Deployment project plan that allows for rapid Cosm venue growth. Oversee the buildout, integration and deployment of hardware and software systems, including networking, A/V, and production systems at our Cosm Venues. Build, lead, and manage a team of TPMs, nurturing high performers, and guiding team members who need support. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination. Report on project status in appropriate comms tools (Slack, Notion, Status Updates, etc.). Identify, assess, manage, and communicate project risks throughout the project lifecycle. Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, technical teams, and business partners. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project success. Build alignment across cross-functional leaders by fostering strategic partnerships to drive business goals forward. Be the clarity in a complex technical environment by aligning stakeholder expectations and effectively managing communication. Facilitate technical discussions by summarizing trade-offs, surfacing priorities, and identifying next steps. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10 years of experience in program management, preferably in a technology- focused environment. Deep experience managing large-scale technical programs, end-to-end, across the whole software development process, encompassing strategic planning and successful product delivery. Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and deliver results. Proven success as someone who can build strong relationships and effectively partner with key stakeholders to ensure project success. Technical background, including experience with backend systems, networking, hardware, APIs, and cloud technologies. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira) The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $160,000-$215,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.

Salary : $160,000 - $215,000
