About us
We are a professional, customer-centric, collaborative Oculoplastic Surgery clinic with a Med Spa. We see both insurance and cash pay patients. We are looking for an administrative assistant and receptionist who loves to serve clients, always smiling and willing to be helpful in a fun, fast paced and rewarding clinic work place. Previous experience in a medical setting is necessary, and the person has to be coachable and is willing to train. Pay is dependent on previous experience.
Duties include but not limited to the following.
Answering phone calls, check patients in and out, receive payments and give refunds, booking appointments, pulling clinic charts, scheduling surgery, insurance authorization and verifications, assisting in insurance billing, helping with social media posting, text blast and graphics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office administration and front desk operations
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in EHR systems such as Millenium / Meevo.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and CPT coding
- Excellent patient service and communication skills
- Ability to manage medical records and perform clerical duties efficiently
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and filing processes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
