- Develop, maintain, and implement warehousing procedures, policies, plans, and manage all personnel activities in support of these activities across multiple sites.
- Manage and guide the Receiving, Warehousing, and Shipping team to operate in a cohesive, streamlined process, to ensure uninterrupted supply chain and delivery results
- Collaborate cross functionally with key stakeholders such as Sales, Client Services, Purchasing, Product Development, Manufacturing, Finance and Quality Assurance to ensure business and compliance requirements are reflected in warehouse and logistics processes.
- Develop and implement Digital/IT tools to drive automation of processes and optimize warehouse and logistics procedures.
- Develop and manage warehouse and logistics key performance indicators (KPI)
- Inspire the team to innovate and problem solve, creating a culture of continuous improvement and growth.
- Manage risks associated with supply chain disruptions and uncertain lead times
- Responsible for the communication and the coordination with suppliers and forwarders to ensure effective freight consolidations (Air & Sea) ultimately resulting in timely deliveries that meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Work with team members to encourage continuous self-development and learning.
- Picking, packing, receiving and shipments on time and with the highest quality.
- Manages shippers for effectiveness; works with UPS, FedEx and freight companies on a daily basis and regularly reports on quality.
- Ensure all lines of business are properly staffed with WH single point of contacts and processes are followed by each of the accountable team.
- Measure performance and report on results in all areas.
- Comply with safety requirements (Employee and building safety)
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed daily.
- Ensure all people and management related matters with all WH employees are taken care of on time (staffing, time keeping management, performance documentation, team meetings and 1-1 meetings).
- Conducts one-on-one review with all direct reports to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, to address any work-related issues and to provide insight for the improvement of their activity and performance
- Ensure communication and embrace collaboration and integrity within the WH team.
- This position will be fully accountable to ensure proper documentation on procedures is maintained, as well as standard operation procedures are developed, documented, and followed
- Leads and directs the work of others and is accountable for customer service from all Warehouse personnel.
- Ensures adequate inventory management of materials and products in accordance with inventory cycles.
- Conducts regular inventory analysis to solve inventory problems.
- Develops and implements inventory control procedures.
- Accountable for maintaining WH machines, training personnel on equipment and for regular maintenance of Lifts and Vehicles.
- Ensures that equipment safety is maintained and that employees are trained and equipped to operate safely.
- Regularly audits WH safety standards and remedies findings.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing cleaning programs and design layouts
- Instructing, supervising, and checking work performed, ensuring accuracy. Correcting any problems that may arise
- Finding ways to make the warehouse processes more efficient using Lean Ideology
- 5S and world class organization of warehouse areas
- Provides excellent email/phone communication with front office and ensures that WH team provides same.
- Position supports maintenance and repairs to our main buildings through the coordination of contractors with our Facilities Manager. Will direct teams to assist with physical office moves, furniture / equipment set-up and other duties related to physical maintenance of overall facility.

- Minimum 5-7 years experience
- Experience with Warehouse Management and Team Management of 10 employees
- Superior delegation skills and ability to maintain progress with shifting priorities and challenges
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written skills a must
- Able to maintain a positive and professional attitude and have an excellent work ethic
- Great attention to detail, organizational skills, and an eye for quality control
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task
- Experience with SAP, NetSuite, Oracle ERP is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
