New Med Spa is looking for someone to work part time starting every Saturday. If you are currently working as an Aesthetic Nurse for another Med Spa and need additional income, this would be perfect for you. As we get busier, more days can be added and/or this can turn into a full time position.
We are looking for a highly skilled and licensed healthcare professional with specialized training in providing laser treatments and injectable procedures for cosmetic and medical purposes. This role involves working closely with clients to assess their needs, performing treatments, and ensuring their safety and satisfaction throughout the process. The nurse operates advanced laser equipment and administers various injectables, collaborating with the medical team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their cosmetic concerns, medical history, and treatment goals. Assess their eligibility for laser treatments and injectables, and provide detailed explanations of procedures, potential outcomes, and risks.
Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs and goals. Recommend suitable laser treatments and injectables based on the client's skin type, condition, and desired results.
Laser Procedures: Operate advanced laser devices for various skin treatments, including hair removal, skin resurfacing, tattoo removal, and more. Ensure proper setup, calibration, and safety measures during laser sessions.
Injectable Procedures: Perform injections of dermal fillers, neurotoxins (such as Botox), and other injectable treatments. Administer treatments with precision, considering optimal injection techniques, dosage, and placement.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to strict safety protocols and infection control measures while performing laser and injection procedures. Follow all regulatory guidelines and standards to maintain a safe and hygienic treatment environment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting treatment plans, injection sites, laser parameters, client reactions, and progress. Safeguard client privacy and data confidentiality.
Patient Education: Educate clients about pre-treatment and post-treatment care instructions, potential side effects, and expected recovery timelines. Address client questions and concerns with empathy and expertise.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as dermatologists and plastic surgeons, to ensure holistic patient care and effective communication regarding treatment plans and outcomes.
Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest advancements in laser technology, injectables, and aesthetic procedures. Attend training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and maintain competence.
Customer Service: Provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for clients, ensuring their needs are met, and concerns are addressed promptly. Build strong relationships to foster client trust and loyalty.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle and manage any unexpected adverse reactions or emergencies during or after procedures, following established protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active registered nurse (RN) license.
- Specialized training and certification in laser treatments and injectable procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of laser technology, skin types, and treatments.
- Proficiency in administering injectable treatments, including dermal fillers and neurotoxins.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and medical professionals.
