What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mfg. Line Mechanic level 1 position at Cosmetix West?
We are a Cosmetic Manufacturing company and are looking for mechanics with the following experience.
Job Description:
LINE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC LEVEL1:
The Line Maintenance Mechanic LEVEL 1 will be responsible of the following:
· Ensure that line equipment is ready to start according to the production schedule and that set ups are performed correctly to meet quality and efficiencies standards.
· Maintain equipment in a safe operating condition and perform repairs as needed.
· Initiate changes and modifications to equipment for safety, ease of operation and efficiency.
· Perform scheduled equipment preventive maintenance on a regular basis and maintain cleaning logs up to date.
· Comply with the company safety rules, standard operating procedures and follow GMP guidelines.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have 5 years of experience with production filling equipment and machinery like liquid fillers, paste fillers, conveyors, cartoners, ink jet coders, labelers, etc.
- Good technical and electrical understanding. Able to deal with uncertainty in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a Plus!!
- Tube filling equipment experience a plus.
Payrate; $28 - $32/hr according to experience. Great package of Benefits as Direct hire.
