Job Description

As a Cosmo Cabinets Sales Development team member, you will play a vital role in driving our innovative sales initiative within a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for executing outbound prospecting campaigns through email, phone calls, and social media, identifying potential developers, general contractors, and designers who would greatly benefit from our cabinetry solutions. Often, you will be the first point of contact with potential clients, with the primary objective of securing qualified meetings for our Account Executives.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research on potential developers, general contractors, and designers using Construct Connect and other databases to identify which developers are actively building projects in various areas.
  • Methodically qualify leads, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline while maintaining a high volume of activity that involves making 10-15 daily calls through our dedicated CRM, Salesforce, ensuring all communications are tracked within the system.
  • Achieve a conversion rate of 30% that qualifies leads into meetings with Account Executives, reflecting our historical track record of success.
  • Discover new leads through diligent research and proactive social media engagement, utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries from potential customers, developing these leads into growth opportunities for Cosmo Cabinets.
  • Accurately track customer interactions and information within our CRM system.

Qualifications
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but relevant experience in sales may be considered in place of a degree.
  • Industry Exposure: Preferred exposure in the construction or building materials industry, with a solid understanding of cabinetry products and market dynamics.
  • A Proven Track Record: 1-3 years of experience in a sales development or inside sales role; prior sales experience in the home improvement or cabinetry industry is a plus.
  • Intensely Curious: A hunger for learning new concepts, industry trends, and customer personas while rapidly integrating such knowledge into daily activities.
  • Organized: Detail-oriented multitasker capable of managing various projects while maintaining a structured approach for optimal success.
  • A Talented Communicator: A personable individual with strong communication skills who understands the impact of their interactions on clients, ensuring thoughtful and clear messaging.
  • Familiar with Salesforce: Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM system is advantageous and will aid in tracking communications effectively.
  • Adapt positively to change while maintaining an organized, optimistic, and coachable approach.
