We are looking for a new ideal team player as a Financial Analyst! As a Financial Analyst at Cosmos Corporation on the Finance Team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our revenue streams and profitability. This position requires an analytical thinker with a keen understanding of market dynamics and pricing strategies. You will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Product Management Teams, assisting with the development, measurement, and execution of business plans to ensure the delivery of net sales targets and profitable growth for the company.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to develop, implement, and refine annual revenue and deduction budgets.
- Update full-year revenue and deduction projections monthly and submit formal updates quarterly.
- Analyze monthly revenue and deduction fluctuations between the budget / forecast and actuals, communicate results to the accounting and sales teams, and help develop solutions to resolve any material discrepancies.
- Analyze monthly deductions taken versus planned and communicate required accruals to accounting.
- Analyze and challenge pricing structures by product and ensure increases are published and pushed through to customers promptly.
- Provide insights and analytics to Senior Leadership to evaluate in-month and current-quarter shipment estimates.
- Support new product development by forecasting, testing planning assumptions, establishing pricing models, and preparing product budgets.
- Gather, compile, and assess industry data to size markets, identify trends, and build business cases for new products, adjacent spaces, and new segments.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of various marketing programs and initiatives.
- Undertake various other projects as directed by the supervisor.
- Other tasks as assigned.
