Position Purpose:
· Non-exempt hourly position
· Responsible for assisting the Education Department
· Report directly to the VP of Education and must maintain an acceptable working relationship with other personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Education Events – Scouts, Schools, Outreach
· Oversee all program registration activities for scouts, schools, outreach, and education events.
· Coordinate the dissemination of registration information between the Education Department and other areas of the Cosmosphere, as needed (Marketing, Box Office, and Finance).
· Organize resources and schedules for education events and communicate plans to all parties.
· Manage the education department customer sales information, ensuring consistent data across all platforms.
· Provide financial reports showing sales income and expenses monthly or as requested.
· Summer Camp Programming
· Coordinate all registration activities for sessions of camps.
· Manage camp infrastructure task list, ensuring completion by deadlines.
· Serve as support for the entire camp staff as appropriate.
· Coordinate all incoming camp correspondence (phone and email).
· General
· Operate as primary liaison between the Box Office and the Education Department.
· Purchase supplies for the Education Department as appropriate.
· Coordinate Volunteer support for the Education Department as appropriate.
· General assistance is required as requested to keep educational programming operating at a high level.
· Play an active role in education meetings, program development, and future planning.
· Provide excellent customer service experience to all customers.
· Other duties assigned by the VP of Education.
