Summary
As a Concrete Laborer you are a member of a collaborative and skilled team that applies and fabricates concrete components of various theme construction projects. The work is performed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications. This role is hands-on and nonexempt.

Schedule: M - Th 6:00am - 3:30pm and F 6:00am to 10:00am. Overtime as needed based on business demand.
Highlights of Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Smooth, finish, and shape concrete surfaces.
- Set up and operate concrete mixers, while meeting raw material codes and batch requirements.
- Spread lightweight cement mix; install anchor bolts and steel plates.
- Operate hoists, cranes, and rigging to move materials.
- Use hand tools and power tools including shovels, rakes, drills, saws, and tape measures.
- Arrange, demold, and reset concrete forms.
- Perform various general labor tasks, including cleaning tools and equipment.
- Drive a forklift (certification training provided).
- Remove hazards in the work area, wear appropriate PPE, and clean up dirt, trash, and debris.
Knowledge, Education, and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: construction knowledge including reading and understanding blueprints, sketches, and material layouts
- Preferred: One year in concrete application processes
- Combined experience and education will be considered
- Familiar with hand tools
- Preferred: forklift operation

Physical Requirements
- Strength and stamina, including the ability to work outside in varying weather conditions
- Regularly stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; regularly walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must have close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must lift 70 lbs. from floor to waist, 90 lbs. from waist to chest, and 25 lbs. chest to above head. Must carry 50 lbs. for 50 ft., push a 100 lb. wheeled cart for 100 ft., and drag 50 lbs. for 100 ft.
Work Environment
- Standard production environment includes exposure to odors, fumes, or airborne particles, and typical machinery noise (moderate to loud)
- Overtime may be required, depending on the project deadline
