GEICO Burbank is looking for a licensed insurance sales agent who is ready to join a select team of agents in a brand-new location.
As an insurance sales agent, you will be challenged to quickly build rapport with customers in a fast-paced and exciting environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable making dozens of phone calls per day, multi-tasking, and closing sales while maintaining a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
· Spend majority of day calling potential clients and handling inbound calls
· Present and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients- including auto, home, cycle and renter’s
· Service existing client inquiries and identify cross-selling opportunities
· Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
· Comply with all insurance standards and regulations
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in sales, customer service or other related fields (insurance experience preferred)
· Strong computer skills/ability to adapt and learn programs quickly
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must be comfortable working in a high-volume call environment
· Bilingual (preferred, but not required)
· California Property and Casualty License or Personal Lines License
