DESCRIPTION
The EDI Analyst will be tasked with the development, implementation, and management of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems, with a primary focus on Sterling Integrator (SI). Responsibilities include troubleshooting, supporting daily EDI operations, and spearheading new EDI B2B initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess robust technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain EDI systems, including data mapping, translation, schema, and interfaces using Sterling Integrator (SI).
- Perform testing and quality control to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of EDI systems.
- Maintain clear documentation of EDI processes and workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI document processing errors, collaborating with trading partners as needed.
- Lead EDI projects, working with internal teams and external partners to meet project timelines.
- Support changes to the ERP EDI environment in collaboration with IT teams.
- Assist business partners with EDI-related requests, including document updates, file reprocessing, and troubleshooting data quality or mapping issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with EDI.
- Experience with EDI systems, particularly Sterling Integrator (SI).
- Strong knowledge of EDI ANSI X12 standards (e.g., 810, 850, 855, 856, 860, 875, 880, 820, 997, etc.).
- Familiarity with EDI communication protocols like AS2, SFTP, etc.
- Experience providing day-to-day EDI support and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or another relevant field is preferred, but not required.
- Strong organizational, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and minimal supervision.
