What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Key Account Manager position at Costa Farms?
The successful Senior Key Account Manager manages the development and execution of profitable programs which grow top line sales for the company and the customer. The Sr. KAM will work alongside with the Multichannel Sales Director to lead and develop a team in the B2B, Canada, Club, and Supermarket Channels, while managing strategic accounts directly. The Sr. KAM will be the liaison between the customer and cross-functional internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. This individual will manage and inspire employees and ensure all business goals and objectives are reached that contribute to the sales of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Multichannel Sales Director.
- Support Sales Director with Multichannel projects and initiatives as well as reporting/analysis.
- Manages Critical, Strategic Accounts directly.
- Leads, develops & provides vision to the Key Account Managers and support team with their customer’s needs.
- Works with the Key Account Managers to develop strategy and drive profitable growth with customers.
- Works with category management & marketing to identify and develop profitable business opportunities.
- Works with the category management/demand planning teams to plan production which includes current programs, new programs, ad & event material.
- Analyze profit opportunities within our current programs. Collaborate with internal teams to build strategies to obtain profitable growth in accordance with those opportunities.
- Identify new opportunities within the customer channels his/her KAM’s manage. Collaborate with internal teams to build strategies to obtain profitable growth in accordance with those opportunities.
- Collaborate with Key Account team to ensure proper order-writing and replenishment of merchandise to drive sales and gross margin.
- Clearly communicate the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly KPIs to external and internal stakeholders.
- Develop, prepare & present presentations during line review and other meetings as required throughout the year.

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field is a plus.
Work Experience: 5 years in sales, account management, or business development, preferably handling key/national accounts. Experience in customer relationship management, negotiation, and data-driven decision-making is essential. Experience in leadership or senior account management role, demonstrating strategic planning and team leadership.
