Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in servicing marine equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various marine vessels and their components. This is a mobile position and will require travel to and from the shop, private residences, and marinas. Reliable transportation is a must. Must have your own tools.

Duties

  • Diagnose issues and perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine systems other than engines.
  • Diagnose Diesel, Inboard, and Outboard engine issues.
  • Service Marine Diesel Engines, Outboards, and perform various repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in the marine industry.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various marine systems.
  • General knowledge of boating systems including Steering, Plumbing, AC/DC Electrical, Batteries, Sanitation, etc.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
