Oil Change Technician - Part Time

Bring your superior technical and customer service skills to your local Costa Oil and start an exciting new career with us! Experience is preferred but not required. This is for a part time position, which would consist of three to four full days per week (9:00 a.m. - 6:00 pm. - Monday/Tuesday/ Friday/Saturday).

Our Oil Change Technicians are the face of the company and we are needing them to be motivated, detail oriented, and strive for excellent customer service.

As an Oil Change Tech you will be responsible for changing oil & filters on customer’s vehicles while maintaining a high level of customer service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Changing oil & filters while following set procedures
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Inspecting engines for leaks
• Topping off fluids
• Diagnosing issues on vehicles and recommending repair to customers
• Ensuring all equipment is in working order
• Completing all required computer-based training in the allotted timeframe
• Complying with all laws and regulations pertaining to hazardous materials
• Understanding federal, state and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
• Holding the highest level of customer service and maintaining a positive response to customers at all times
• Contributing to a positive culture and work environment

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in a fast past environment
• Customer service background preferred
• Ability to use a point of sale system is required

Working Environment:
The store has spaces that are only accessible by stairwells. The tech must be able to do the following:

• Lift a minimum of 20lbs
• Use stairs
• Use tools effectively
• Work in hot and cold weather
• Uniforms are required (provided)

This position is a part-time position

Pay: From $14.50 per hour
