ASSOCIATE ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHER – COSTAR GROUP – LOCATION

CoStar Group is seeking an Architectural Photographer to join our growing research organization.
As a CoStar Associate Architectural Photographer, you will be providing high quality photographs, drone videos, still images, and walk-through videos on the most important commercial buildings in your region. Owners and brokers rely on CoStar, LoopNet and Apartments.com to provide high quality media to best market their properties to tenants and investors. As our Associate Architectural Photographer, you will be at the heart of the commercial real estate industry, capturing high quality images that enable our clients to make informed high impact business decisions. With 24 million people visiting CoStar’s websites each month, every day your images will help our client’s best market their properties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide professional quality photography and video on assigned commercial properties in your assigned region
- Produce interior photography using available light sources as well as lighting systems when necessary
- Create visually appealing and technically sound video with such tools as cameras, drones, gimbals, and sliders
- Utilize time of day, time of season and location-based decisions on when to best photograph the exterior of commercial buildings
- Professional and effective communication with clients during all aspects of the media shoot including scheduling, and on-site execution
- Edit all photography and video in a timely fashion resulting in a completed project.
- Continued learning and development of your craft, including staying up to date on new techniques and technology
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma required
- 2 years practical photography and videography experience as an Architectural Photographer or Real Estate Photographer
- 1 years experience as a Drone Photographer (FAA Part 107 License/Certification required prior to hire)
- Demonstrate proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite:, IE: Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro or similar
- Candidates are required to submit portfolio of work supporting above listed experience
- Full understanding of best practices for Architectural Photography, demonstrating artistic vision and creativity
- Demonstrate a full understanding of manual camera settings and lighting (flash and ambient)
- Be knowledgeable of MAC OS and MS Office
- Repetitive and frequent standing, seeing, sitting, walking, and driving up to eight hours per day
- Holding five pounds in one hand for five minutes (photography and videography)
- Repetitive hand and arm movements needed to type and write
- Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting and carrying are necessary to perform job functions
- Must be able to work on computer and or mobile devices from vehicle throughout workday
- Will be exposed to both vehicle noise and possible car exhaust
- Ability to conduct job duties outside in various weather conditions each day
- Ability to travel up to one week per month
PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience functioning autonomously in the field while achieving key performance and quality indicators
- Ability to develop strong personal relationships with key contacts at assigned companies
- Proven success managing multiple responsibilities, changing priorities, and excel in a fast-paced environment without missing deadlines
- Possess excellent oral and written communication, as well as organizational skills
