The IT Training Analyst is responsible for selecting, designing, administering, and coordinating Service Desk new hires and current employee training programs. The selected individual will use various methods, technologies, and knowledge-sharing tools to develop a training curriculum (e.g. classroom training, eLearning modules, and job aids) to meet a variety of learning styles.

ROLE
- Develops in-depth learning and development programs for the Service Desk.
- Maintains advisory relationships for Knowledge Transfer processes with Service Desk management.
- Documents skill development plans necessary to function in specific knowledge areas.
- Administers, manages, and executes employee development initiatives and curriculums.
- Develops related learning materials, program parameters, and testing.
- Designs training curriculum, training programs and collateral.
- Develops, presents, and maintains training project plans, needs assessment reports, design documents, instructional materials, evaluation summaries, and other relevant key performance indicators.
- Provides weekly project status and updates.
- Works as an embedded resource on IT projects and solutions to develop pilot and roll-out training.
- Supports the overall strategic Service Desk mission and approach; makes recommendations to ensure continuous improvement and align the Service Desk with IT business needs.
REQUIRED
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to transfer information and knowledge to others in a clear and concise manner.
- Detail-oriented and able to produce quality training materials which are concise and easy to understand.
- Experience with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Strong organizational and cross-functional interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized; ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized manner while functioning effectively as a team member.
- Ability to interact positively with all levels throughout the division, including management, and build strong internal working relationships.
- Collaborative and flexible work style with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Recommended
- Previous experience as a TSR on the Service Desk.
- Previous experience leading large scale training projects.
- Able to work independently when required without having to rely on direct supervision.
- Capable of balancing and prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines for assigned projects.
- Good problem-solving skills and able to determine the best solution, and take the initiative to solve the problem when faced with a training issue.
- Well-organized; able to consistently plan and prioritize many different types of classes and training schedules.
- Able to accept constructive feedback from management, students, and co-workers.
- Familiar with multiple Costco business areas.
- Proven success participating in cross-departmental projects with several project team members.
- Proficient in Google Workspace applications, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail.

Pay Ranges:
Level 1 - $32.60/hr - $43.27/hr
Level 2 - $80,000 - $105,000
Level 3 - $95,000 - $120,000
