Wine Stocker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Wine Stocker to join our retail team. The ideal candidate would have a general understanding of wine and liquor to be able to answer member questions and provide recommendations. They will play a crucial role in maintaining the wine department and ensuring that products are readily available for customers. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
- Stock shelves with products, ensuring that items are placed in an organized and visually appealing manner.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate restocking efforts and address any inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, adhering to company standards for organization and safety.
- Assist with retail sales by providing excellent customer service when needed, including answering questions about wine.
-Sets up display tables for vendors.

-Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in wine sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Ability to lift and move products as necessary, maintaining a safe working environment.
- A proactive attitude towards cleanliness and organization within the store.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
