Costco is looking for an experienced Manhattan Associates WMi Software Developer to support the Manhattan Associates WMi system used to fulfill grocery and fleet orders in Costco Business Centers. This position will be responsible for enhancing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our current 2009 version of the Manhattan WMS, as well as partnering with Systems Analysts and other development teams for software enhancement and configuration, and integration with other systems such as Order Management, Warehouse Execution Systems, etc. This is an excellent opportunity to work on various internal and external applications focused on improving the Ecommerce WM processes for a fortune 50 company.

ROLE
- Enhances the WMi software as necessary to support the prioritized business needs.
- Develops, maintains and ensures coding standards are followed.
- Mentors less experienced team members on WMi programming concepts and tool suite.
- Trains other staff members as needed on WMi functionality.
- Responsible for all unit and integration testing, training, and start-up of all systems or modifications.
- Collaborates with business leaders and users to clarify current operating procedures and functional objectives, as well as drive process and system improvements.
- Identifies opportunities for workflow/process improvements, and interacts with other areas to jointly develop ways to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Provides WMi application support including application configuration, issue resolution, and testing.
- Ensures all incidents are resolved against SLAs.
- Interfaces with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
- Helps ensure consistent WMi system processes across facilities.
- Performs 24x7 on-call support as scheduled or as needed. Available to work nights and weekends when necessary to meet the needs of the business.
- Available to travel occasionally and for onsite deployments, as needed.
REQUIRED
- Experience in iSeries/RPG programming.
- 3 plus years’ experience implementing, configuring and supporting Manhattan’s iSeries-based WMi solution, including:
- Configuration/Administrator-level knowledge of WMi components, API's, related interfaces and configuration.
- Experience in developing product extensions and interfaces to ensure proper functionality and integration with other systems.
- Proven ability to partner with other technical teams to ensure WMi solutions are integrated properly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting and resolution skills.
- Able to work effectively and produce consistent results with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, is self-motivated, responsible, conscientious, and detail oriented.
- Ability to effectively mentor less experienced team members on programming and testing techniques.
- Good understanding of corporate IT policies, procedures, and standards.
- Able to support off-hours work as required, including weekends, holidays and rotational on call.
Recommended
- Detailed knowledge of Warehouse Management/Fulfillment concepts and system solutions.
- Strong work ethic, demonstrated attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Experience with Distribution technologies like Mobile, RF, label printers, and Material Handling Equipment.
- Appropriate certification or equivalent experience.
