As a software engineering intern, you will work closely with our data product engineering team to maintain and build new features for COTA's existing self-serve analytics platforms within the COTA technology stack. This position requires an ability to learn quickly, think critically, and pay close attention to detail.

• Exposure to enterprise software development
• Experience working in a fast-paced agile software development environment
• Mentorship from senior engineers
• Exposure to new and cutting-edge technologies

• Work with a team of developers and designers within domain of expertise
• Maintain existing specific features and extend some of COTA's production services
• Full stack software development for our data product web portal and data inventory counts
• Assist with development of scripts and tools to automate testing for existing components
• Collaborate with other team members to plan, design and implement software modules
• Get the chance to apply your skills to learn about real-world data and its use in the industry.

• You will add value to our code base
• You will extend applications to become more maintainable and robust
• You will learn how to apply your knowledge of expertise in a business environment

• Education in a relevant degree like Computer Science, Computer engineering, Information Systems, or related major
• Experience in various programming languages
• Experience working with relational databases
• Proficiency in distributed version control systems (git)
• An interest in learning some of our technologies
• Good to have: experience with google cloud/other cloud platforms
