A leading firm is looking for an AI Engineer to join its Data Science & AI team, developing and deploying AI solutions that enhance decision-making and optimize business processes. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to design AI-driven capabilities that deliver measurable value. The engineer will work across the full AI lifecycle, from data gathering and prompt engineering to model fine-tuning, deployment, and optimization in production environments. Additionally, they will help shape the AI roadmap and promote best practices across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Weights & Biases), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with search/vector databases like Pinecone. They should be skilled in data engineering, distributed computing, and traditional ML frameworks such as XGBoost and Scikit-Learn. Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AI agents for autonomous decision-making is a plus. Knowledge of React or similar frontend frameworks is also beneficial.
Candidates should hold a BS or MS in Computer Science, Data Science, or Machine Learning and have hands-on experience deploying machine learning or NLP models in production. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to translate business challenges into AI solutions.
