Sr. Business System Analyst / Product Manager (Real Estate)

A leading investment firm is seeking a Technology Specialist to collaborate directly with its Private and Strategic Investments teams within the Real Estate business. This role will be instrumental in driving technology initiatives from concept to execution, ensuring seamless integration of systems that support investment processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business workflows, functional requirements, and technical implementations, bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
Key responsibilities include engaging with business users and technical teams to gather and document requirements, develop functional and technical specifications, and oversee system testing. The role involves leading business and data analysis, designing workflow models, and contributing to user interface and data architecture. Additional duties include mentoring junior team members, managing documentation, and supporting both application development projects and production systems.
Candidates should have experience with Argus, Asset Eye / RealPage, Yardi, or similar real estate portfolio management platforms. Familiarity with Anaplan, Investran, eFront, or other private equity systems is a plus. Strong skills in SQL, data modeling, workflow design, and expertise with Tableau or Power BI for reporting are essential. Prior development experience is advantageous but not required.
A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field is preferred, along with 7 years of experience in technology roles supporting real estate or alternative investments. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to work across both business and technical teams to deliver impactful solutions.
