Senior ITFM Analyst

A leading investment firm is seeking a Senior IT Financial Management (ITFM) Analyst to enhance financial transparency, budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling using ITFM/TBM software such as MagicOrange. This role will be responsible for managing the ITFM platform, ensuring accurate cost allocation, automating financial processes, and collaborating with IT, finance, and procurement teams. The ideal candidate will have a finance background with expertise in ITFM/TBM tools, helping to optimize IT spending and support strategic financial decision-making.
The analyst will oversee cost allocation models, chargeback methodologies, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis within the ITFM platform while leveraging Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel for reporting and automation. They will work cross-functionally to evaluate cloud expenses, software licensing costs, and IT investments, using scenario modeling and forecasting tools to enhance budget planning. Additionally, they will develop dashboards and automate financial reporting, ensuring real-time insights into IT expenditures and cost trends.
Candidates should have 5 years of experience in ITFM, TBM, or FP&A, strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, and hands-on expertise with ITFM software. Experience in FinOps, SaaS cost management, and tools like Torii or Productiv is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to present insights to senior leadership are essential.
