Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
- Ability to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
- Ability to safely perform duties using commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, irons, etc.
- Must be fully vaccinated and provide vaccination record card at time of hire.
Responsibilities
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for performing tasks related to the laundering of resident’s personal clothing and linens, as well as community linens . This individual is also responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in the commercial laundry facility while ensuring the proper operation of all equipment on a daily basis.
- Wash, dry, and iron resident laundry and community linens
- Fold and/or hang laundry appropriately
- Distribute laundered articles and linens
- Change beds as needed
- Mop laundry room floor and wash walls regularly
- Maintains a safe, clean and good working environment within the laundry area.
- Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies.
- Stock laundry and cleaning cart with supplies.
- Empty wastebaskets, and transport trash to disposal area.
- May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Salary Range
The wage range for this position is $21.00/hr - $24.15/hr, dependent on prior work history and experienceSalary : $500
