Coterra is hiring a EHS Specialist in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania.
As an Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Specialist for Coterra, you will work with the business unit and Corporate EHS staff to support Coterra’s workforce safety and environmental stewardship efforts. You will assist the EHS Manager in maintaining compliance to Company standards by conducting worksite assessments, training, emergency response and incident analysis. This position is located at our Susquehanna, PA office and does require travel to the field.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Facilitate the company’s loss control efforts by:
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Work is typically performed both indoors and outdoors. Incumbents in this position must be able to physically and legally operate company owned vehicles. Employees must be able to perform work which requires walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping and climbing. Exposure to conditions such as extreme heat or cold is likely. Employee is required to physically visit areas where actual operations are occurring, such as drilling, completions and production locations. Personal protective equipment including, but not limited to head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame resistant clothing are required. Safety rules including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced. Employees must be willing to travel and work extended hours on short notice.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Facilitate the company’s loss control efforts by:
- Performing job hazard analysis
- Investigate Incidents and perform Root Cause Analysis
- Complete gap and trend analysis on Leading and Lagging Indicators
- Review and as needed, recommend revisions to EHS Standards
- Coordinate Industrial Hygiene Studies and Ergonomic Assessments
- Advise internal stakeholders concerning EHS compliance, best practices, and expenditures
- Assist in the education and training of company personnel
- Provide oversight for Motor Carrier Compliance
- Perform periodic EHS site assessments at company facilities
- Contribute to the EHS on-call efforts during off hours as needed
- Interface with community, regulatory, and internal stakeholders
- Perform other EHS-related duties as assigned
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate applicable industrial regulations is required.
- Professionally Accredited from BCSP, NREP, IHMM, etc. is preferred.
- Must be self-disciplined, detail-oriented and change-adept.
- Project management and organizational skills required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must have a clean driving record
- Bachelor’s degree In industrial/occupational safety or related science discipline preferred. A minimum of ten years of directly related experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
- Minimum of Seven (7 ) years of work experience in a safety or environmental compliance position in an industrial setting is preferred

Travel Requirements
- 5%-10% Travel may be required for mandatory meetings, training or field site visits
