What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager position at Cottage Cafe?
We are seeking a dedicated manager for our fast paced, busy cafe. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, fun environment that is challenging and allows you to apply your personality and skills in a variety of ways, becoming a part of our management team is for you! Our veteran front of house and back of house teams are committed to making our guests’ day by serving them great food with a smile.
The schedule is 4 days per week, 9.5-10 hour shifts. Wednesday-Saturday 5:30am-close. This management position requires prep work in the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant
- Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all guests
- Oversee the kitchen and food production, ensuring high-quality meals are prepared and served
- Lead and motivate a team of employees, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
- Handle Daily Cash and financials
- Execute kitchen prep
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in restaurant management preferred but not required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Knowledge of kitchen management and food production processes
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Culinary background or knowledge is preferred
