Join Cottage Health as an Educator. The Simulation Center Educator provides and coordinates simulation education for multiple specialty areas. Functions as a resource for simulation education, facilitator development, building collaborative partnerships, and research through evidence-based practice/quality improvement. Participates in department/organization education initiatives.

Education:
- Minimum: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree Preferred: Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Master’s in Education.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Minimum: California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Preferred: Professional certification in specialty area. American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Technical Requirements:
- Minimum: Microsoft Office; AV applications; Ease with technical applications (e.g. Search engines, websites) Preferred: Hi-fidelity simulation experience. Knowledge of computer hardware equipment and software applications relevant to simulator functions.
Years of Related Work Experience:
- Minimum: Five (5) years of recent experience in a clinical setting related to specialty area; unit-based education leadership; participant or instructor in simulation based experiences (SBE)
- Preferred: Experience in a defined Educator or Simulation Facilitator role
