What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) PD position at Cottage Health?
The Lactation Consultant assists and assess patients with breastfeeding while making daily rounds.
Will evaluate patients who have problems breastfeeding and develop feeding schedule / plan with the pediatrician, bedside nurse and mother. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field required; Registered Nurse (RN) preferred
- International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) required
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) required
