The RN Weekend Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, patient and family satisfaction, and employee engagement. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations on assigned shifts
- Mentoring staff and facilitating the implementation of the care delivery model and processes
- Coordinating with other departments to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Participating in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, and recommending employee promotions, transfers, and terminations
The ideal candidate must possess:
- A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution; BSN preferred
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing
