Job Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Ski Shop Manager to assist the Store Manager with all aspects of the rental and retail operations of a busy ski shop.
In additions to performing all ski technician duties, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for the following:
· Assist store manager with administrative aspects of rental and retail operations
· Perform opening and closing procedures
· Assist in recruiting and hiring quality staff
· Create and implement weekly schedule for shop employees
· Operate as MOD when store manager and owner are not present
· Verify that an adequate supply of forms, materials and supplies are on hand
· Keep social media and google pages up to date and promote sales
· Maintain company paperwork and review rental forms for accuracy
Qualifications:
· At least I year ski technician experience – required
· Some management or supervisory experience – preferred
· Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel and Word
· Familiar with POS systems
