Title: Assistant Registrar
Date: January 2025
FLSA Status: Exempt – Full time, 12 month position
Reports to: Registrar
Position Summary: Assists the registrar in the maintenance of student academic records, enrollment support services, and all registration services and related matters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and all other applicable laws and regulations
- Assists students, faculty, and staff in interpreting academic policy
- Monitors academic standing, coordinates early warning, probation, dismissal, President's and Dean's Lists
- Provides transcript services for all current students and alumnae
- Supports information needs of students, faculty, administration, and other constituencies subject to limitations of data availability and privacy
- Certifies enrollment of students with veterans benefits to Veterans Administration as a School Certifying Official for the college
- Provides training for student information system users
- Performs other duties as assigned by the registrar

- Skill in using computerized student information programs for student record keeping as well as retrieving and analyzing data for reports
- Knowledge of the rules, regulations, and laws regarding student records
- Knowledge of NAIA student-athlete academic eligibility requirements
- Knowledge of VA eligibility requirements
Credentials and Experience:
- Prior experience with automated student information systems desired
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel
- Progressively responsible and relevant administrative experience
