Cottey College is currently seeking a part-time CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), a clean driving record, and a passenger endorsement.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Ensure that all cargo is properly secured and is delivered in a timely manner
- Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and updates on delivery routes
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Previous experience as a CDL Driver is preferred
