What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist position at Cottingham & Butler?
SISCO (Self Insured Services Company) is a third-party benefit administration firm that is continuing to grow, and as a result of that growth, we are adding a Billing Specialist to our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone that is just starting in his or her career or looking to take it to the next level. This position would entail reviewing customer accounts to answer their questions, explaining postings, troubleshooting errors, entering cash deposits, reviewing invoices, and doing reconciliation in Excel spreadsheets.
There are a lot of critical deadlines that need to be met with this position, so attention to detail and organizational skills are important in this role. Basic knowledge of accounting and Excel experience is also helpful.
Full-Time Benefits - Most benefits start day 1
SISCO was established in 1980 as a boutique third-party administrator dedicated to the administration of unique, complex plan designs. Today, SISCO is recognized as a premier third-party administrator for employee benefits, with the dedication to help our clients maximize the value of their employee benefits. To this day, we are serving 600 employers and 1,000,000 members from our headquarters in Dubuque, IA.
We set ourselves apart from the competition by selling the “experience” of SISCO. We deliver an effective, yet human, experience by hiring the best employees and giving them the best technology.
For the past decade, many Health Insurance Carriers and Payers have been quietly driving industry trends in the wrong direction. The result is a lower standard of prudent review and ever-increasing costs. Our strategy is to simply administer employer plans with the same care, diligence, and expertise we apply to our own benefit program. Learn more at www.siscobenefits.com
