Title: Front Office Supervisor
Reports To: Front Office Manager
Job Description Summary: Responsible for assisting with for the overall success of the hotel, meeting and exceeding planned objectives for revenue and profit, and ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met. Assist with management of all areas of the hotel with Marriott and LRC2 standards to achieve a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and quality. Provides exemplary performance for staff to follow, acting as a role model. Steps into General Managers functions when they are not present.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be readily available/approachable for all guests; with a professional and courteous attitude take proactive approaches when dealing with guest concerns.
- Ensure department achieves and exceeds guest’s service expectations. Motivate and encourage staff to solve related concerns.
- Assist in development and implementation of hotels marketing and sales plan based on the hotels position and strengths within the market area.
- Understand market fluctuations and assist selling.
- Understands the competitions strengths and weaknesses for each target market and successfully directs marketing activities against each.
- Become involved in the community to better understand our client’s needs.
- Identifies and maintains communication with the hotel’s key accounts.
- Actively sells to in-house guest – greeting tours, talking with guest to surface additional leads, etc.
- Supports guest service as the hotel’s driving philosophy by personally demonstrating a commitment to guest service by responding to guest needs.
- Lead by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm. Promote teamwork and associate morale.
- Create and maintain a positive, professional work environment within the hotel.
- Assist in ensuring all hotel employees are well trained, in employee safety and guest safety.
- Responsible for assisting in orientation, training, and performance of workforce for the Front Desk hotel staff.
- Responsible for assisting with front line employee relations, counseling, conflict resolution, etc.
- Recognizes and corrects potential safety hazards, such as broken doors or railings, fire hazards etc.
- Recognizes and corrects potential security problems, such as locking doors after hours.
- Assist in ensuring ongoing staff involvement in preventative maintenance programs. Protects the interest of the hotel during capital projects.
- Responsible for reviewing reports when needed, for accounting and payroll to ensure accurate information is processed.

- Able to work alone or in a team environment.
- Flexible to work non-business hours. Must be available to work all shifts when necessary, including 7 am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am
- Able to operate in different work conditions or environments such as on-site, off-site.
- Must be able to lift 25-30 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for long period of time.
- Be able to bend, stoop, twist and raise arms over head.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
