Cotton Point Living Center is a quaint, cozy, long-term care facility nestled in the heart of Matthews, Missouri. This facility offers a beautiful setting for rehab to home resident or those staying with us longer. A specialized dementia unit is available for male residents requiring a safer environment. Full-time therapy staff lend a hand to all residents, inspiring them to maintain physical and mental health.
We have immediate openings for Certified Medication Technicians (CMT). Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse and Director of Nursing, CMTs are an integral part of the care provided at Cotton Point Living Center. The CMT will utilize the Electronic Medical Record to accurately and timely, provide prescribed medications to the residents. As a CMT, you will develop a close relationship with the residents while helping them with a significant part of their medical care. Certified Nursing Assistants seeking CMT certification are encourage to apply. The facility has resources to provide CMT certification, upon approval of administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Dependability, honestly and accuracy with medication pass is critical
- Follow physician’s orders for medication pass
- Reorder medication refill prescriptions timely
- Utilize electronic medical record to fullest extent for accurate record keeping
- Monitor resident following medication pass and report any changes to Charge Nurse
- Other duties as requested
