What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Cottonwood Healthcare?
Here at Cottonwood Healthcare, we manage Skilled Nursing Homes in Utah, Montana, Nevada, and Colorado. Our HR Generalist will help our Director of HR oversee and work with each of our Nursing Homes to process payroll, assist in onboarding, train new business office managers on HR material, assist in handling sensitive HR issues that arise, to make sure we are following state and federal laws, and to help build a positive moral across the company. Looking for someone who is currently majoring in HR or has 2 to 3 years of experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or working toward degree.
- At least, 2 to 3 years of HR experience in the following areas:
- Payroll processing (specifically, experience with iSolved by Paylogics)
- Onboarding
- Training and development
- HR legal knowledge (Specifically MT, NV, CO and UT)
- Handling sensitive HR matters
- Experience in Healthcare Industry (Long Term Care is a plus)
- Handling Workers Comp. claims
- Organizational skills
- Clear communication skills
- Good listening skills
- Problem solver and self-motivator
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
