What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tennis Instructor position at Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation?
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Seasonal, part-time, and non-benefitted. Available to work Monday-Thursday 7:30am – 12pm.
SALARY: $11.40 – $14.50 per hour, DOE
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be 14 years of age.
2. 1-3 years sport experience or instruction, and able to demonstrate intermediate skill level or higher.
3. Approved criminal background investigation check if over 18 years of age.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ability to demonstrate correct stroke techniques, scoring, court rules, and court etiquette.
2. Is on time and prepared for lessons.
3. Prepares records and lesson progress reports.
4. Follows all safety protocols outlined by the recreation center.
5. Assists and supports students and parents in a positive and professional manner.
6. Participate in seminars and classes to improve teaching skills and techniques.
7. Attend meetings as required.
Salary : $11 - $15
