Description
This position supports the Mission of Coulee Medical Center by providing maintenance and repair to facilities and equipment ranging from furniture to HVAC systems. Responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of industrial machinery and equipment by diagnosing faults, repairing breakdowns, and implementing preventative measures to minimize downtime. The Facility Maintenance Engineer acts as an advocate for safety; correcting potential hazards, performing routine preventive maintenance, and acting as a point of reference for troubleshooting equipment and utility systems. Acts as a main contact for responding to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours. Must have exceptional communication skills as well as collaborative skills to interact with visitors, patients and co workers. This position supports the Maintenance department in a manner consistent with the Mission and Vision of Coulee Medical Center.
Education/Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Vocational training in plumbing, welding, HVAC, electrical, or other fields associated with plant maintenance or commercial construction preferred.
- Current and valid Washington State Driver’s license required
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods

Salary Range: The wage scale for this position has been finalized for the facility including 26 steps and the selected candidate will be placed on the wage scale depending on years of experience.
