Job Details
CAH Hospital in North Central Washington is looking for an OR RN.
4 10 hour day shifts per week.
1-3 shifts per week on call.
1-2 weekends a month on call.
2 OR Suites.
Job Requirements
Circulator experience and endoscopy experience required.
Basic PACU experience preferred or willingness to be trained.
C-section experience preferred- helps with call shift.
Schedule Information
Monday through Thursday, 0630-1600.
1-3 nights per week (low call-in rates).
1 to occasionally two weekends a month.
Weekend call is Thursday 4pm-Monday 6am.
Holidays are covered by call.
Additional Details
Department : Operating Room | Surg Tech
of Suites : 2 ORs, 1 Endoscopy suite
Average # of cases per day : 5-7 (2 days a week).
Currently only have a general surgeon operates that 2x per week and a specialty surgeon that comes in 1x per month.
On days where there is no surgeon- travelers will float to other areas if experienced otherwise will do preadmission testing / calls and other desk work.
Manager available during the day and by phone after hours.
Whole house charge is available as a resource.
Only have 1 OR tech.
EMR : Cerner.
Independent call not done until around 3rd week of assignment.
Scrub Color : Provided. Must wear hospital scrubs.
Department specific orientation : 1-2 days of unit orientation.
