Job Details

Job Description : L&D nursing position at Coulee Medical Center in Grand Coulee, Washington.

Department : OB | RN

of L&D Beds : 2 rooms

of OR Suites for C-Sections : C-Sections are done in OR, PACU will recover.

of Postpartum beds : Acute care beds are used for Post Partum beds.

of Births per year : 50-60

Common diagnoses : Diabetes, GDM, AMA, no prenatal care.

Job Requirements

Experience : Must be able to work on Acute MedSurg Floor.

Must be experienced with neonatal antepartum, L&D, Post partum.

Ok with 1 year experience.

Schedule Information

Shifts : 12 hour shifts, 6a-6 : 30p, 6p-6 : 30a.

Set schedules typically with shifts blocked together.

Scheduler will complete schedule 4 weeks at a time.

Weekend Requirements : Typically every other.

Holiday Requirements : Will fill in if there is a need.

Floating Requirements : Will work Acute MedSurg if no OB patients.

Unit Specific Information

Department specific orientation : 1 day on the unit.

Additional Details

Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, EFM must have at least intermediate, prefer advanced.

Charge nurse for whole hospital.

All OBs are Family Practice OBs and are in the clinic during the day.

Salary : $2,506
