Job Details

  • Job Description : L&D nursing position at Coulee Medical Center in Grand Coulee, Washington.
  • Department : OB | RN
  • of L&D Beds : 2 rooms
  • of OR Suites for C-Sections : C-Sections are done in OR, PACU will recover.
  • of Postpartum beds : Acute care beds are used for Post Partum beds.
  • of Births per year : 50-60
  • Common diagnoses : Diabetes, GDM, AMA, no prenatal care.

    • Job Requirements

  • Experience : Must be able to work on Acute MedSurg Floor.
  • Must be experienced with neonatal antepartum, L&D, Post partum.
  • Ok with 1 year experience.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shifts : 12 hour shifts, 6a-6 : 30p, 6p-6 : 30a.
  • Set schedules typically with shifts blocked together.
  • Scheduler will complete schedule 4 weeks at a time.
  • Weekend Requirements : Typically every other.
  • Holiday Requirements : Will fill in if there is a need.
  • Floating Requirements : Will work Acute MedSurg if no OB patients.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Department specific orientation : 1 day on the unit.

    • Additional Details

  • Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, EFM must have at least intermediate, prefer advanced.
  • Charge nurse for whole hospital.
  • All OBs are Family Practice OBs and are in the clinic during the day.
