Council Baradel, a Maryland law firm, seeks a full-time Estates & Trusts paralegal for its Annapolis, Maryland office.
The ideal candidate for this position must be friendly, organized, and detail-oriented. The Paralegal must be able to work independently, multi-task, and interact with the staff and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
What will you do in this role?
The role will consist of supporting Council Baradel’s busy Estates & Trusts department focusing on the administration of estates and trusts, preparing accountings, assist with tax return preparation and other general support duties in the area of estate/trust administration.
What qualifications are required?
- Two to four years’ paralegal experience
- Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Ability to accurately process a variety of tasks and high volumes of work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Advanced knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, NetDocs, WealthCounsel and other web-based applications
