OVERVIEW :
We are seeking a child and adolescent psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary non-profit practice. Part-time psychiatrists at Council for Relationships ( CFR ) are W-2, fee-for-service employees . Council for Relationships clinicians provide exceptional clinical care in a collegial atmosphere with a focus on continuing education and peer support. Th e child and adolescent psychiatrists are participants in CFR's Child, Adolescent, and Family Services program . The psychiatrists provide medication evaluation and treatment and can also provide psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and for adults. They are expected to maintain a minimum caseload of 8 clients per week / 34 clients / month but are welcome to see more than that. The position is flexible, and therapists are able to set their own schedules and rates. Therapists report to their Office Director and to the Medical Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Conduct high-quality psychiatric evaluation and treatment in an ethical manner, in conformity with established professional standards, in compliance with HIPAA regulations, and accountable and accessible to peer review.
- Follow C FR clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Utilize C FR's practice management software system.
- Maintain the highest standards of professional practice, including completing client case files promptly and respecting client confidentiality.
- Attend group clinical supervision.
- Attend monthly all-staff meetings as schedule allows.
- Attend monthly clinical specialty group meetings as schedule allows.
- Meet monthly clinical productivity requirements.
- Maintain an updated profile on the Council website.
- Submit writing for Council internal and external communications / marketing pieces.
