Founded in 1922, Foreign Affairs is the preeminent publication on international affairs and U.S. foreign policy. It is published by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), a leading independent, nonprofit membership organization dedicated to producing and disseminating foreign policy ideas.

Foreign Affairs is looking for an associate editor to join our editorial team. This position is located in New York on a hybrid basis. CFR currently defines hybrid as working at least three days a week onsite, with Tuesdays and Thursdays considered institutional anchor days where all staff are required to be onsite. CFR’s hybrid schedule is subject to change.

Major Responsibilities

• Commission, review, and edit content
• Help carry out print and digital production processes

Qualifications

Pay Range

70,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience and education.
