Position: Maintenance, Grounds Keeper, Permanent Support Staff 2025/2026 SY (Anticipated)

Location: All CRSD Schools and Buildings

Available: Staring July, 2025

Hours/Schedule: 8 hours/day; 5 days/week; (Benefit Eligible)

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM / Monday – Friday

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

Grounds Crew: Must be knowledgeable of grounds equipment and maintenance procedures. In addition, must be physically capable of performing described tasks, setup-climb-takedown ladders, traverse hills and ditches to maintain lawn areas, field preparation equipment, mowers (zero turn, riding and push), trimmers, rollers, weed whackers, field lining equipment and other related grounds equipment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to lawn and field maintenance, weed whacking, line striping on grass and paved surfaces, tree trimming, earthwork, landscaping, snow clearing, preparation and placement of concrete slabs on grade, etc. Overtime hours will be expected during winter weather conditions and emergency events as required to ready buildings and grounds for school events. Grounds employees must be able to drive manual and automatic transmissions for all sized vehicles (CDL license is not required). On occasion, the grounds and maintenance staff members assist with tasks when addressing emergency situations, preparation for commencement of the school year, etc.

REQUIRED PAPERWORK: In order to begin employment in any PA public school, all employees are required to complete mandatory paperwork. Background employment clearances must be completed within the last year to be valid and include:

• PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
• FBI Fingerprints (Act 114) IndentoGo

Some additional paperwork includes Arrest/Conviction Report form, PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure (Act 168), physician’s health form and recently completed TB test.
