What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional (DSP) position at Counseling and Consultation Services, Inc?
The DSP is responsible for the efficient operation of the shift assigned to them by their immediate supervisor. The DSP must maintain a clinical and authoritative relationship with each resident while providing the best treatment and care possible.
- Maintain order and clinical flow of each shift according to shift schedule.
- Plan and activate group activities along with the other shift DSP according to the outcome of goal group decisions.
- Attend required staff meetings.
- Work collaboratively with all Residential Staff to maintain the highest quality of Residential care.
- Maintain strong communication with all employees to ensure strength and continuity of the Residential Program.
- Be present in all group therapy sessions pertaining to the shift to which they are assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
