Position Overview:
Counseling for Your Long Island is seeking a dynamic and organized Client Care Coordinator to be the welcoming face and voice of our practice. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about delivering exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth communication, excellent client care, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for incoming calls, managing a high volume of phone inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Coordinate client appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing questions, concerns, and requests in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • Multitask efficiently by managing phone communications, scheduling, and administrative tasks simultaneously.
  • Prioritize client care by maintaining confidentiality (HIPAA knowledge is a plus)
  • Calm, solution-focused demeanor during all client interactions.
  • Support therapists and administrative staff by handling client intake forms, payments, and other documentation.
  • Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and provide proactive communication to clients and staff.
  • Contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the office.

 Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer service, front desk, or administrative roles (preferably in a high-volume setting).
  • Strong multitasking abilities with a proven capacity to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software or practice management systems is a plus.
  • A friendly and approachable personality, with a focus on creating a positive client experience.

$18-$21/hour experience pending

Shifts Needed:
part-time and full-time positions
M-F 
1-9pm OR 
3-pm
 
Sat/Sun
9-5pm

Merrick, NY
Massapequa, NY
