CPC facilitates community-based sex offender assessment and treatment services across the state. These positions offer a degree of schedule flexibility and professional autonomy, while still working for a company that provides clinical and administrative oversight and supervision.
Our experienced professionals & staff will train or certify a qualified candidate to work in this specialized field to provide cutting edge, risk-reducing treatment interventions with court-ordered clients.
This position comes with flexible hours! The right candidate will be able to dictate & control their own schedule once fully trained.
Education & Licensing Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
- Must have a valid LCSW/LICSW, LMHC, LMFT or Psychologist license.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
- Understanding of risk management
- CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing experience
- Clinical outpatient treatment experience and substantial focus on group facilitation
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience providing Sex Offending Treatment, DV, or Substance Abuse Treatment
- Spanish-speaking preferred, but not necessary.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing assessment, individualized treatment planning, group/individual therapy for persons convicted of sex offenses.
- Complete required assessments on clients assigned to caseload, including but not limited to actuarial and dynamic risk assessment, sexual interests, personality measures, cognitive, and achievement tests.
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date web-based treatment files and clinical documentation.
- Work in an independent setting with strong organizational skills and rigorous attention to detail.
- Attend clinical trainings (CE’s provided) and containment meetings/supervisory meetings as required.
- Work closely and maintain a good working relationship with Probation and Parole and other criminal justice partners.
- Adhere to professional and confidentiality requirements in handling client records.
