What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult LADC/ADC-T position at Counseling Services of Southern Minnesota?
Counseling Services of Southern Minnesota (CSSM) is seeking a morning Adult LADC/ADC-T to join our team! We are looking for caring, ambitious, self-motivated, and charismatic counselors to lead our adult outpatient treatment groups. The right candidate will be licensed as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or temporary permit holder (ADC-T).
The LADC will be responsible for delivering and properly documenting the provision of treatment services including the Initial Service Plan, Comprehensive Assessment, SUD education, individual/family/group counseling in accordance with Minnesota Statute 245G.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Current LADC licensure; or current temporary permit (ADC-T)
- Bachelor's degree through an accredited school
- Documentation of 270 clock hours (18 semester credits) of specific alcohol and drug counseling coursework
- Completed 880-hour alcohol and drug counseling internship hours
- MN LADC/ACD-T
- Familiarity with 245(G) requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with modern hardware and software technologies
- Highly dependable and self-motivated; ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal direction
- Able to pass Minnesota DHS background study
- Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds
Job responsibilities:
- Deliver outpatient treatment services including individual counseling, group counseling, and case management to clients within scope of practice
- Document all treatment activities and services in accordance with MN 245G standards and statutes including intakes, treatment plans, comprehensive assessments, and discharge summaries
- Complete assessments of clients according to MN 245G standards and requirements
- Communicate and coordinate care with other treatment providers, placement agencies, and other referral sources
- Attendance at all staff meetings and trainings
- Knowledge of and ability to strictly abide by facility, state and federal confidentiality rules and regulations
