Why Consider This Role:
The role of an eating disorders therapist is perfect for the experienced clinician who focuses on the struggles of disordered eating, relationships with food, and nutrition or body image issues, and has worked in a higher level of care setting. The therapist will be expected to perform individual, or possibly family therapy, including conducting diagnostic assessments to formulate DSM 5 diagnoses and complete treatment plans to support therapeutic interventions. The candidate must have experience working with individuals in 1:1 traditional sessions, and have utilized clinical interventions and diagnostic skills in their current or previous work experience.
Typically our clinicians are at full time status in an average of 3-4 months depending on availability. The candidate must be: independent, driven, collaborative, organized, detail oriented, and able to enhance our positive-minded group of clinicians. The candidate will be employee status. Compensation is fee per client based, and paid out twice per month.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- Current State of Illinois license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LPC, LSW, or AMFT
- Willing to work weekends (minimum of 1 year of a weekend shift required) and evenings
- Preferred 2 years experience working with eating disorders
- Prior private practice experience is a plus but not required
- Proficient computer skills–we use Google Docs & TherapyNotes
- Organized, professional, conscientious, timely and responsible.
